Thanks to the board for being more reasonable. Teachers, the stakeholders with the most to lose, will now be able to attend. There will be no public comment, but at least the audience will be able to hear the arguments and watch the board members make their decision.

The best possible outcome for the community would be a trial in which the actions of the board members responsible for the present situation are brought to light. If they have done nothing wrong, they should have no problem with the public peering into their dealings. Let the sunshine in!
