thank you to the responsible parties that retrieved and shared the memos. why was this not brought to council's attention before now? almost six months have passed. sounds like we need to clean house.

typical childish behaviour seen on marco hourigan. no turf needs watered every day. sprinklers for the most part can be turned off in the summer and 1 or 2 day a week watering in the winter. excessive watering promotes fungus that gets spread across the island and requires chemical application and contributes to fertilizer and chemical runoff into the gulf. you can check the universities on that. it sounds like you may have a problem with authority. im sure the city will take your money though so thanks for keeping my rates down.

a talk with city hall permit dept. a month or so ago on this issue brought forth the following info, unless they have changed something since then, if you need gravel in seawall, was told any amount, you need to apply for a permit (quoted $85.00) someone from the city will then inspect your wall, if it needs work they will require it be repaired not topped off with rock. i was told this was required not something in the planning stage.

as i was showering and watching the liquid gold(marco public water) run down the drain it brought to mind an old soap from tv yesteryear called dallas. maybe we could have our own soap marketed and share the royalties. it could lead up to the big show, who bought j.r..

i wonder how many emails they got asking them to please raise taxes? it must have been a lot to be able to infer that is what the residents truly wanted over fiscal responsibility.
