Once again, I'm having a good laugh at patton1's expense.

Wasn't patton1 the blogger who introduced us to the term "butt monkey" and would verbaly attack any of us "pinheads" who had the audacity to disagree with him or his buddies at city hall.

It seems patton1 is no stranger to this tactic. He hopes we're all as stupid as himself and have conveniently forgot all his immature name calling, threats and flames from previous blogs.

So when are we going to erect a memorial to our saviour Bill Moss in Veterans Park. Oh sorry, I guess we'll have to wait for the staging area to be moved as promised years ago.

I wonder if Mr. Farmer has ever had a serious issue ignored by the city. Or had a city official stand in his backyard and blatantly lie to him. Or been told by 3 different councilmen that there's nothing they can do and you might want to consider a lawsuit against the city. Or been harassed by the police for publicly trying to protect his children after being ignored for months by the city.
By the way Mr. Farmer - I just visited your website. Real professional, just like your unbiased column.

Why not hire Agami as our new city manager. It appears he has all the qualities our present city council deems fit.
Mr. Nachef, I sympathize with your situation. Another casualty of greed, incompetence and selective law enforcement. Unfortunately, this is what this island has degenerated to and is deemed acceptable.

The question everyone should be asking is -
Why is QE getting awarded all these projects when it's quite obvious they're incompetent at best. Crushing asbestos and now toxic levels of H2S.
Now we get stuck with the tab.

This is the same guy who had photographic evidence of planted asbestos.

This is quoted from the Eagle's August 7th article.
While Public Works Director Rony Joel said he does not believe the gas is to blame for any illness, he said he’s taking the allegation seriously.
“I’m really very concerned that we might be undertaking an activity that could cause a health risk to our community,” he said. “And if I thought we were putting our citizens’ health at risk I would recommend to City Council to stop construction activities.”
Did I miss something the past couple of days or did Rony Joel actually tell the truth for the 2nd time in his life and recommend stopping construction activities to the council.
I'm sure you remember the 1st time about the crushed asbestos quoted from the 3/14/06 Eagle article
Joel said the contractors crushed the pipe at the Glon site and at some locations on Collier, but said the asbestos was not the grade that becomes airborne and posed no threat to public health.
City Manager Bill Moss later corrected Joel's statements after talking with officials from Quality Enterprises USA Inc., the contractors hired by the city to do the Collier roadwork.
The contractors told Moss they had not crushed any asbestos pipe, but had left 88 percent of the pipe abandoned in place in the ground, and had removed the rest — 86,740 pounds of it — that was delivered to an off island landfill for proper disposal.
