Description: A restaurant serving sushi and Italian food might seem like an unlikely proposition, but Noodles manages to pull it off. The restaurant is a combination of the trendy and the traditional. While the look is up-to-the-minute modern, the food remains old-fashioned southern Italian (unless you order sushi of course). The decor is Fifth Avenue-ish, featuring a maple bar inlaid with copper, a semi-open kitchen partially walled with mosaic tiles, expanses of etched glass, striking suspended lamps and a cement floor cleverly faux painted at the entranceways. Several nights of the week, the restaurant features live music. Thursday nights, Noodles becomes the Nooshi lounge, a South Beach-style dance club complete with a VIP lounge, velvet rope, and oversize door personnel.
