You really should consider yourself very fortunate that you arrived when you did.At least you were spared the appalling food, entertainment and the extortionate check that was presented at the end of the evening. Not that two hours could be considered a good night out.We went there one evening expecting the same as you and were greeted with not a smile but rather a scowl, hurridley ushered to a table, there we sat watching a one man band who was supposed to be singing Beatles songs which is why we went however all we got was one beatles number every half hour hardly a Beatles night. Then there was the food more quantity than quality. The check arrived and wow, I can only imagine the house special cocktails were meant to be something more than we got and twice the price. We really felt this is one place Marco Island could do without.

Went for dinner. 5 adults, 2 children. Prices were high, quality was average. Biggest problem was the 2 grandkids wanted to split an adult meal (cost more than 2 kids meals). When the check came they had added a $5.00 fee for the extra plate. Needless to say, I'll never darken their door again.

We won't go back to this place. The lunch menu is posted outside to suck you in; then you get the limited and more expensive dinner menu. The 'host' and server were too friendly; ie., wouldn't keep their hands off us. I had to chase the server to get drinks refilled, but when it was time to pay, he wouldn't leave. He would have told his entire life story if we let him.

The only things Irish about the place was green decpr and the taped soccer game on the TVs.

Cathie O'Clarke's is awful. They advertise as an Irish pub, get people all excited thinking they'll hear some good Irish tranditional music and very rarely have it. The food is expensive and very bad.
The new resturant is even worse. Go to Porky's or Michelbob's if you want good ribs. Stay away from Mel's.
