Golden Gate ends Lely’s season

Lely's Antony Russo slides into second in an unusual play that cut off a Lely rally in its loss to Golden Gate. Russo slid into second base, hitting second baseman Alex Witter in the legs. The umpire called Russo out, then ruled that Russo went after the second baseman in trying to break up a double play, ruling the runner also out at first to end the inning.
