I hope that someone from the city will see this and follow up ... and make me smile.
On South Collier, down around the MICA parking lot area there have been a number of excavations on the swales and purple pipes placed for whatever purpose I do not know.
What I do know is that the contractor (???) failed to use even common sense and place a plate for his Bobcat tracks to run on and has broken/chipped/damaged almost all of the sidewalk concrete slabs.
Betcha’ we the taxpayers will be paying the bill to replace all of these slabs unless someone goes after this very irresponsible contractor.

And you could not simply have called the City about this. Instead you had to write a letter to the editor, in hopes that someone from the city would see it. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, however if I wanted someone from the city to see this I would have sent it to the City. Here's your sign!!!!
