Which one do you enjoy better: eating at home or eating out? I like both. My husband is a great chef and cooks healthy and with love! However, I also enjoy eating outside, especially as a family. What would you like to see in the menu when you eat out? More organic and natural choices and more fresh stuff. I would like to see a broader variety of pasta, like artichoke pasta or whole wheat.
What’s your favorite restaurant and why? Food and Thought in Naples for sure. The food is fresh, the atmosphere matches my taste. I also like going to the Olive Garden, they have a tasty salad and a nice variety of pasta.
Do you discuss nutrition with your patients? Yes, I do. We discuss lifestyles and eating behaviors.
Do you think that what we eat influences our mood? How so? Definitely. Some foods are like “gas pedal,” stimulating the brain, others are like “brake pedal” foods. Everything we eat has an impact on our body-mind.
