Criminal arrest warrant

Oscar Manuel Hernandez, 20, of 465 5th Ave., was arrested March 4 at 11 p.m., after a police officer observed him driving without headlights in the area of 500 S. Collier Blvd., a police report states.

A records check revealed that Manuel did not have a valid driver’s license and was also wanted on a warrant from Collier County for failure to appear in court, according to the report. Manuel was arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center.

Domestic battery, possession of marijuana

Mathew Mark Devine, 47, of 513 5th Ave., was arrested March 6 at 12:37 a.m., for domestic battery, possession of marijuana and violation of an injunction for protection against domestic violence, a police report states.

Officers responded to a call of a disturbance at Devine’s home, where Kathleen Devine reported that her brother battered her during an argument, the report states. Officers reportedly observed injuries, and conducted a records check, revealing that Mathew Devine had an active protection order against him for no contact with the victim.

A search of Mathew Devine revealed marijuana, according to the report. He was then arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center.

Theft

A woman’s purse was reported stolen from the beach at 400 S. Collier Blvd., on March 6 between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., a police report states. The purse reportedly contained a driver’s license and $160 in cash, and was estimated to be valued at a total of $260.
