STORY TOOLS

The Clerk of the Circuit Court houses many public, official and court records, including:

• Court (cases)

• Probate (wills)

• Dockets (case calendar)

• Foreclosures

• Lobbyists (registration)

• Official/Land

• Tax Deeds

Visit www.CollierClerk.com, click on Records Search, then select the type of record you want to search for or visit the Collier County Courthouse in person and search public, official or court records.

When it comes to records, documents and searches, the public has certain privacy rights, including the right to have sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, and credit card numbers removed from their records.

If sensitive personal information is found in the records, you may send a written request for its removal to the Clerk’s office. Specify the document and page number that contains the personal information.

This year, new laws protecting your privacy on certain documents have been passed by the Florida Legislature. You can see them online at http://election.dos.state.fl.us/laws/07laws/Shotitle.htm.
