The Naples Daily News will join with a group of business counselors to offer local businesses advertising and marketing tips at a free seminar next week.
The Daily News and SCORE will host “Marketing Your Business on a Budget” from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 29, at The Conservancy of Southwest Florida.
Topics covered will include planning and budgeting, types of media and when to use them, and how to create an effective ad.
“This seminar is a way for businesses to uncover the ‘mystery’ often felt when trying to determine when and how to advertise,” says Mary Jo Spartz, Naples Daily News marketing director.
“Often-times businesses owners know they want to advertise, but may not be sure how to get the best results within their budget. Our presentation explores ways to do so in an environment where you can ask reps questions and not actually be in a purchase situation. The seminar is information only.”
During the last half of the seminar, a breakout discussion will take place where Naples Daily News directors and SCORE counselors will be on hand to answer questions and offer tips.
Current and prospective business owners interested in advertising, marketing, and types of media including online and direct mail are encouraged to attend. Anyone interested in attending should RSVP to http://score.naplesnews.com or call 403-6116.
