Naples is beautiful, but development has changed much of the charming landscape in ways that few of us can remember. The Blue Heron Restaurant is one outpost that preserves intact the ambiance of yesteryear. Located on the picturesque Isles of Capri, off CR 951 between Naples and Marco Island, this restaurant lets you enjoy waterfront dining, with all-inclusive Continental cuisine, at its most elegant.

Proprietor Norvella Adkins has been running the 35-year-old restaurant for five years. Many of the staff of 10 have served there for 10 years or more. The wine list comprises only select Reserve and Grand Reserve vintages and house wines are from Kenwood. Adkins says her goal is to, “preserve the art of fine dining and romance.”
