Friends of Tigertail Beach members and volunteers spent Saturday morning performing the quarterly clean-up along the beach.
Susan LaGrotta, Tigertail stewardship chairperson, said the organization targets the Saturday after the July 4 celebration.
The organization, with 170 members plans it next clean-up in conjunction with the International Coastal Clean-up on Sept. 20.
“We have a very good turnout for that day,” she said. “It is a time also when student volunteers use the day to earn community volunteer credits.”
