The Sailing Association of Marco Island (SAMI) will have its annual Ladies Day Regatta on Saturday.
In this event the helm of a sailing vessel must be handled by a female crew member. There will be a skippers’ meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, for all who are interested, at Vandy’s on Elkcam Circle, next to the Post Office.
The race will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, and an awards program will be held at Vandy’s at 5 p.m.
