Undrafted free agents Derrick Morse and Micah Rucker from Estero High School and Steve Octavien from Lely High all survived the first round of cuts by NFL teams on Tuesday.
Morse is a backup guard for the Cleveland Browns, Rucker is a backup wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Octavien is a backup linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs. All were signed as free agents following the NFL Draft in April.
Teams had until 4 p.m. Monday to get down to 75 players. The last round of cuts is down to 53 by 4 p.m. Saturday.
