Back to the fold
Returning to his roots after a teaching sabbatical in Nevada, attorney Gary J. Hausler has joined the Law offices of William G. Morris on Marco Island.
Hausler is a graduate of George Washington University and received his juris doctorate from Hofstra University.
He previously practiced on Marco Island from 1987 to 2006.
In a release, Hausler said he was excited about returning to law, and that he was looking forward to working with many of his previous clients.
Hausler will be practicing primarily in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, probate and family law.
Attorney Morris said the company welcomed Hausler, and said his experience would help with the continued provision of a full range of client services.
Hausler will be practicing in the firm’s Marco Island office at 247 North Collier Boulevard, and can be reached at 642-6020. The firm is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on evenings and weekends by appointment.
Walker’s kudos continue
Walker’s Marine on Marco Island has achieved another boating feather in its cap with recognition as one of Pursuit’s flagship dealers nationwide.
Walker’s Marine received “gold” status along with one other Florida dealer, as well as one from New York, one from Ohio and one from New Jersey.
The program builds on the Marine Industry Dealer Certification program instituted by the NMMA (National Marine Manufacturer’s Association) to help marine dealers achieve and maintain certain standards and practices for their dealerships in several different areas.
Pursuit’s program helps its dealers excel in overall customer satisfaction and profitability, according to a release.
It also recognizes and rewards exceptional performance in the areas of dealership sales, marketing and service.
Pursuit Boats is a division of Holland, Michigan-based S2 Yachts, Inc.
It has a major production plant in Fort Pierce.
S2 Yachts also produces Tiara Yachts, whose inboard power models include Open, Sovran, Coronet and Convertible models ranging in size from 29 to 58 feet are built in Holland, MI.
Pulling power
Marco company Dynamic Seawall Maintenance Systems is increasing its reach.
Recently, the Naples-based construction firm N Square, Inc. contracted with DSMS to become an authorized installer of DSMS throughout the State of Florida.
N Square, Inc. is a certified general contracting firm in the Florida with more than 17 years’ experience in the area.
DSMS is a non-invasive method for maintaining seawalls/bulkheads for homeowners and commercial properties. Walls have been secured using DSMS throughout Southwest Florida for the past four years.
The method uses stainless steel, helical “anchors” or screws that are mechanically inserted from the waterside, thereby eliminating any disruption to land near the wall normally seen in traditional seawall repairs or replacements.
Marine engineers and environmentalists have praised the system as both a practical and superior method of maintaining concrete, vinyl, wood, and any type of walls that are showing signs of failure or have been condemned.
The system has also been applied to golf course lake and pond retaining walls.
Sales strategy lauded
Superior Internet marketing services to clients has landed local Realtor Ralph Iorio with an excellence award.
Iorio, of Assist 2 Sell, was this week to be presented with the “Real Estate Online Marketing Award of Excellence” by Realtor.com.
The site recognizes innovative use of photos displayed, better-crafted descriptions, or adding full- motion video to sales efforts.
Iorio said Internet marketing, coupled with a “solid” print advertising plan, is critical in today’s market.
The combination, he said, provides buyers and sellers the best of both worlds on the global and local levels.
