St. Mark’s Episcopal Church sent Nacho Mama’s to its knees as it solidified its hold on third place.

St. Mark’s toppled Nacho Mama’s, 25-8, causing Nacho’s to slip another game back of first-place Cocomo’s in the City Men’s Softball League.

DaVinci’s split a doubleheader, downing Sand Bar, 22-12, then losing a nail-biter to Cocomo’s, 18-17.

Patrick Baldwin led St. Mark’s with four hits, while Donny Montroy, Mike Vanderjagt and Kevan Kirby knocked out three hits each, with Kirby slamming a home run. Jeff Madenford, Lee Vanderjagt and Cory Banister added two hits each.

Zach Luetkemeyer and Greg Curry pounded out three hits each, while Vince Gentile chipped in with two hits.

In DaVinci’s win, Mike Graczyk slammed out four hits, while Damien Shadrick, Mike Radlovacki and Mark Feola Jr. knocked out three hits each, with Feola hammering a home run. Joe DiScuillo, Kevin Backe and Mark Feola Sr. added two hits each.

Sand Bar’s Justin Hanna and Tom Rozankowski lined three hits, while John Cyr and Greg St. Amour added two hits each.

Cocomo’s Kevin Hennings and Neils Stone knocked out four hits each, with Stone adding the power punch with two home runs. Brian Day and Dan Noyes added three hits each and Scott Gibbs, Neal Alberry and Dave Rice Jr. two hits each.

For DaVinci’s Eric Smith slapped out three hits and Damien Shadrick, Mike Graczyk, Mark Feola Jr., Matt Morris and John Ribar had two hits each.

Cocomo’s leads in the standings at 14-2, followed by Nacho Mama’s, 12-4, St. Mark’s, 9-6, DaVinci’s, 6-9, Almost Famous Mel’s, 6-10, Capt. Brien’s, 4-12 and Sand Bar, 3-13.

On Thursday night Capt. Brien’s plays DaVinci’s at 6:15 p.m., Cocomo’s plays Sand Bar at 7:15 and Mel’s meets St. Mark’s at 8:30.
