Lutgert Insurance has opened at La Piazza in the Town Center at Ave Maria, the new town rising in eastern Collier County.

“Our longstanding relationship with the Barron Collier Cos. and the Immokalee agricultural arena made this a logical fit for our organization. We look forward to being an integral part of the growth of this community,” said Bud Hornbeck, the firm’s president, in a company statement.

Lutgert Insurance, founded in 1953, is headquartered in Naples, with offices from Marco Island to Sarasota. The newest office at Ave Maria is the company’s sixth. It has a staff of three and is a full-service office, offering an array of personal and commercial insurance products.

The office is at 5076 Annunciation Circle No. 101 and its phone number is (239) 354-4343.

“Every week brings more business and more activity to Ave Maria,” said Ave Maria Project Manager and Barron Collier Cos. Vice President Blake Gable in a news release. “Virtually all the retail space in La Piazza has now been leased, and throughout the next year, nearly all the businesses will be open.”

The Bean of Ave Maria, Emergency Physicians Network, Island Bike, Qwik Pack & Ship, and Ave Maria Utility Co. are scheduled to open in the next 30 to 45 days.
