A list of recent real estate staff appointments and sales leaders.

J.L. Wallace Inc.

Dennis Tyeryar has been named superintendent for the Fort Myers-based commercial construction firm. Tyeryar has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including owning and operating a residential and commercial construction company for 15 years. He has completed a variety of projects including International College in Fort Myers, St. Peters Ministry building in Naples, Sterling House A.L.F. in Cape Coral and The Inn on Fifth in Naples. Tyeryar attended Allstate Construction College and Technical Education Corp. where he studied architectural drafting.

Taylor Woodrow

Sandi Blazina, Amy Rakouskas and Sandy Smith have been named monthly sales leaders.

Prior to her tenure at Taylor Woodrow, Blazina was a sales associate at Hunters Ridge Golf & Country Club, Bay Colony and Pebbleshores.

Rakouskas, sales representative at River Hall, previously was a community manager for Adams Homes in Palm Bay and an associate builder representative for Burgoon-Berger Premier Homes, also in Palm Bay.

A Taylor Woodrow employee for more than six years, Smith started in the company’s Bradenton office as a project accountant.

ERA Faust Realty Group

The company has named its listing and sales leaders for May.

Greg Gordon is the leader in closed sales at the North Naples office. He was born and raised outside of Philadelphia and is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Gordon specializes in residential communities in Naples and Bonita Springs.

Ellen Mann is the listing leader in the North Naples office. She is International Collections agent and has many years of experience in international real estate transactions.

Javier Canizares is the listings leader in the Golden Gate City office. He specializes in Spanish-speaking buyers and sellers in Naples and Lehigh Acres. Canizares is a graduate of ERA’s Acceleration Training 2004 and Top Gun Academy 2004.

Susan Holland is the closed sales leader in the Golden Gate City office. She has a degree from Auburn University and has been active in local real estate since 1979. Holland joined the ERA Faust Realty Group in 1994 and is a graduate of ERA’s Top Gun Academy.

Weichert, Realtors - On The Gulf

Catherine Caselnova has joined the sales team at the Naples office. Specializing in residential sales and rentals with emphasis on first-time homebuyers, she will serve clients in Naples, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Estero and surrounding areas. She is a member of the Naples Area Board of Realtors, the Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She holds an associate degree in fashion illustration and marketing. Her background includes work in the area of oil brokering and trading.

Realtor Sandra G. Velez has joined the sales team at the Naples office as a specialist in residential sales and rentals. A member of the Naples Board of Realtors and the Florida Association of Realtors, she will serve clients in Naples and surrounding areas. Velez worked as an executive secretary in public transportation prior to real estate. She is a licensed mortgage broker.

C.G. Claussen Realty

Heather Wightman has been named the May sales leader at C.G. Claussen Realty, the real estate marketing company for Waterside at Bay Beach, a high-rise condominium community developed by Giles Development LLC on Estero Island. Originally from Lakeland, Wightman earned a degree in business administration from the University of South Florida, Tampa. She has been at Waterside for more than nine years with 12 years of Southwest Florida real estate experience. Wightman was formerly associated with Sterling Oaks in Naples. She has earned the Certified New Home Sales Professional designation and is a member of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and The Beach Inc.

Pulte Homes Inc.

Joanna Kassar has been named the May sales leader for the Southwest Florida market of Pulte Homes Inc. She is a member of the sales staff for Orange Blossom Ranch. Kassar, a Brooklyn, N.Y. native, studied finance and received a degree in business administration from the University of Florida, Gainesville. Before joining Pulte Homes, Kassar served as a customer service associate for World Savings Bank, Coral Springs, as a legal intern with the law office of John L. Korthals in Pompano Beach, and as a finance intern with Merrill Lynch, Gainesville. Kassar has earned the Certified Sales Professional designation. She joined Pulte Homes in 2004 as a member of the sales staff for Colonial Country Club, Fort Myers and the Orange Blossom staff in January.

Toll Brothers

The company has announced the following:

Mark Grasser has been named assistant vice president for Lee County. Grasser previously worked with Toll Brothers as senior project manager for Belle Lago and The Reserve at Estero, as project manager for the estate homes at Belle Lago and as project manager at The Enclave, a neighborhood of coach homes at Palmira Golf & Country Club. Prior to that position, he was project manager for Naples Lakes Country Club. Before moving to Naples, he spent three years as assistant director of finance for Toll Brothers in Philadelphia. Grasser also has served as the division controller and treasury manager for The Torrey Group of Companies in Atlanta. His experience also includes three years with the accounting firm of Freed, Maxick, Sachs & Murphy, PC, as a certified public accountant and an internship with Price Waterhouse, both in Buffalo. Originally from Buffalo, Grasser has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Canisius College in Buffalo and a master’s degree in real estate from Cornell University.

Gary Hains has been named assistant vice president responsible for Collier County. Hains previously worked with Toll Brothers as senior project manager for the coach home neighborhood at Aviano at Naples, a new community of carriage homes, coach homes and detached villas in Naples. Prior to that he was project manager for the estate homes at Belle Lago. He also worked as an assistant project manager at Naples Lakes Country Club. Before joining Toll Brothers, he was a financial analyst with LaBranche & Co., New York. He formerly served as an assistant to the vice president investment banking services of the New York Stock Exchange. Hains has a degree in American history from Brown University and spent one academic year in the economic history department at the London School of Economics.

Al Torchia has been named a senior project manager for the company’s West Florida Division, responsible for marketing, sales and construction of the company’s new neighborhood of luxury homes, The Estates at Harbour Isles in Apollo Beach. Torchia has worked for Toll Brothers for five years. He was responsible for the construction and build-out of the company’s estate homes at The Oaks in Sarasota. For nine years prior to joining Toll Brothers, Torchia was co-owner of Castle Construction Company, a Tampa area high-end custom home builder. He began his career in on-site real estate sales, later transferring to the construction segment of the home-building industry in management. Torchia has a Class A Florida General Contractor’s License and is a Florida licensed real estate broker.

Stevens Construction

Chris Campbell has been promoted to director of project development at the Fort Myers-based construction firm. In this role, Campbell’s primary responsibility will be managing the development of projects which includes marketing, site selection, management of the design process, estimating, scheduling, permitting and contracting. Campbell, a resident of Southwest Florida since 1973, has been managing commercial and educational construction projects for 15 years. He is a graduate of Auburn University with degrees in architectural design and building construction.
