Triple-digit heat, rain expected today

It's going to be another typical summer day in Florida -- hot and rainy.
There is a 60 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms after 10 a.m., the National Weather Service reports.
Temperatures are expected to reach 91 degrees with a heat index as high as 100 degrees. The relative humidity will be at 73 percent with easterly winds at about 11 mph. Temperatures should drop to about 76 degrees tonight.
The rain chance is likely to stay in the forecast through the middle of the week, the weather service said.
Monday will be partly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain. The temperature high will be 90 degrees and the low will be 75.
