New Year's Eve is a time to celebrate, and sparkles can be your exclamation point. I found shimmer and glitter in every store I went into.
Ann Taylor had a good selection of lamé sweaters, but I adore this beaded silver sweater in a wrap style ($128). It will look just as good with jeans as a velvet skirt. I also like this large link crystal bracelet ($48) and gunmetal evening purse ($39.99). These three items become an instant outfit when paired with pants or a skirt.
The weather just might be cool enough to wear these black leather gloves adorned with crystals ($40.80) from White House/Black Market. They are so glamorous and ladylike.
The Gap has beaded and crystal thongs that will dress up any outfit ($19.99). Little girls can also sparkle in this beaded henley available in white, gray or red ($12.99) and glitzy thongs ($8.50) at Gap Kids.
Complete the look with shiny eyewear. MAC has Jewel Escent glitter liner in teal, blue, white and brown ($16.50). I chose eyelashes with crystals ($3.49) from Sally Beauty Supply, but there are some with pink or gold glitter.
