Duval Street Seafood Company in Bonita Springs closes

Posted April 22, 2008

Well, it looks like the Duval Street Seafood Company, just north of the Promenade at Bonita Bay on U.S. 41 in Bonita Springs, has closed down again.

The quaint Key West-style fish palace was sporting a FOR SALE sign out front earlier this week and there was no answer to repeated calls.

There's clearly a market for seafood in that area; the Bonefish Grill a few hundred yards south inside North Bay Village is packed unless you dart in at 5 p.m.

For now, the Duval Street Web site is still live, although there's no official word on what's going to happen to the property.
