Rue 21 is a hippening, happening store for the young at heart.

It has only one owner for more than 400 stores.

Shoppers are mainly from teens to the gals in their 20's. Everything in the store is very reasonable with new mark-downs each week. I guess that one owner really knows what he's doing as things move out fast!

There was a rack of tee's that had baby doll sleeves and a shirred front at $12.99, some with cap sleeves and a peek-a-boo back in stripes and solids, $14.99. Bold stripe tee's for $9.99, tanks for $3 long V-neck tee's for $7.

Sweat pants in all colors for only $7. There are racks of summer dresses with an additional 50 percent off.

Popular this season, madras patchwork shorts or bermudas for $19.98. There were many racks of 50 percent off on shorts, capris, jean capris, skirts in summer prints, long pants in knit and cotton and many styles of tee's.

A bargain hunter's paradise! Bra's were from $5.99 and panties, a whole table full for 99 cents!

I am a "little" old for these fashions but I did love the shoe selection, hand bags and jewelry!

There were darling polka dot ballerinas with a stripe bow on the side for $16.99, they also came in yellow.

They have many choices of shoes: heels to sandals and flip-flops, most $16.99-19.99, even gold gladiator sandals that you see in the fashion magazines.

I loved the huge print tote bag with a big beaded handle, $16.99, or the cute straw purses. Bold jewelry, sunglasses, headbands and a selection of colorful belts for $2.

Also there is a department for the guys with solid or stripe tee's for $5. Cargo shorts or jeans for $21.99. Popular shorts in plaids or stripes, dress shirts in solids or stripes at $19.99. Hard to find Western shirts. A rack of jeans that were $19.99 with an additional 50 percent off!

Print tee's or print or plain hoodies. A section of stuff with lots of skulls on them. Shoes that looked like Vans with skulls for $19.99. I don't get these skulls ... but they are everywhere! Belts for guys were only $12.99.

They have their own fragrances for guys and gals, the newest being "Revert."
