The Savvy Shopper

From trendy to timeless! Bijou Brigitte.

Posted June 17, 2008

I found this store in Edison Mall, it is a German company that came here in 2006 with seven stores in Florida. Bijou Brigitte was founded in Hamburg in 1963 and now has 1000 stores opened in Europe. You will find them in every European country except Russia. So they have a lot of experience in fashion jewelry.

Each store has more than 9,000 items to sell. It will WOW you when you walk in, there is a sea of color greeting your eyes.

There is jewelry for every occasion, for a casual look find accessories of natural materials like wood, seashells, mother-of-pearl or leather. For business dress, pure metallic jewelry or the classical real silver line. For that special evening they carry a exclusive design label, "Senso di Donna" to go with your evening gown for glamorous occasions. Sparkly fine rhinestones or cubic zirconias

All jewelry is nickel-free and very reasonable from $1 to the designer jewelry at $129. It is easy to shop here as everything is arranged according to color, it keeps Lyuba the assistant manager busy keeping each piece in its place. She keeps the store very organized.

There is a section of The World of Minerals and Gemstones. Here are displayed beautiful amber, tanzanite, color gemstones and a range of minerals and fossils.

Bijou Brigitte carries men's accessories, and children's jewelry, too. You will also find hand bags, head bands, things for your hair, belts, flowers and scarves. Very fashionable, stylish and trendy. A fun place to shop for modern, classical or elegance ... just beautiful!

And Lyuba is very helpful to find that special piece for you!

They have been open one year in the Edison Mall at 4125 Cleveland Ave and Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers.
