To many, that is. I visited the Coach store at Miromar Outlets this week and as everyone else... they are having an after-the-holidays sale. Their purses are crafted from natural leather which burnishes over time, acquiring a rich, lustrous patina. There is also the famous signature purses made with the same detail going into them-- distinctive hardware, double-needle stitching and bound edges.

I also noticed quite a few accessories, cashmere-blend scarves at $79; silk scarves, $29 and $39. A huge selection of belts, some at an additional 30 percent off. The wallets and coin purses were 20 percent off. A small, soft leather purse that holds it all, from credit cards to cash in beige or brown, $89. Also saw key chains.

Beautiful, soft leather jackets that were marked $299 with an additional 39 percent off. Leather gloves too at 40 percent off! There were hats and scarves for men and for women, so you see it is more than a store for handbags!

The credit card holders were $29. Handsome daytimers at 30 percent off. I liked the men's leather notebook that had space for cards, pens and calculator in addition to a notebook. The leather briefcases would make any one happy. Even the pampered pooch can get treated at Coach with dog collars and leashes!

And, of course, all the beautiful Coach bags! There were some big bold colors like lime green, $209-$299, and plum berry, a really rich color that is the color of plums. Four styles in this color at 30 percent off. I noticed a lot of leathers without the famous "C" all over them. Nice little leather purses in a variety of colors at $149. Or a huge natural beige tote at $349. Some of the shoulder bags were only $99. There was a table of suede bags in three styles on clearance with an additional 30 percent off. Tweed totes in blue and black herringbone or burnt orange tweed, or the cute little hand-held leathers at $69 with an additional 30 percent off. Small leather clutches in a variety of colors--only $34. I liked the soft leather in beige or brown at $89. They would hold everything!

The white and brown for summer were very smart in several styles, along with those just as you come in the door with bronze, gold and suede stripes on them. Or the soft camel with a leather strap. There were loads of them with the traditional "C" all over them in all colors-- there was a selection of brown, black or pink at 20 percent off.

Needless to say the shop was bustling with shoppers. There were some very good bargains to be found!
