Treat yourself ... at the Paper Mill!
Posted January 8, 2008
I love this little store with it's unusual treasures. You will find things here that you can't find anywhere else. They used to be on Cypress Lake but moved to this location off Daniels Parkway a year ago.
There were sweet little silver bangles with engraved sayings on them. Debbie said the quilted totes with the rhinestone crown clasps fly out of there and another popular item that seems to fly out is Bea Triz Ball metal wear...very unique. Of course you all know by now that I am a sucker for the linen towels...they just keep getting funnier! Who thinks of all this stuff?
"Drink till he's cute" Come on girls is that priceless or what! Or "Never trust a skinny cook", "Dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off"! There were pillows that said "Families are like fudge...mostly sweet with a few nuts"! I like the one that said "Pure Bred Princess". And note pads that said "Shut the duck up!" Or "Chocolate makes my day!" I can think of a few friends that I could give these to!
Paper Mill also carries Thymes and Crabtree & Evelyn, a large selection of Brighton, beautiful French milled soaps by Giana Rose. Soft cuddly baby clothes by Little Giraffe.
This is the store for paper lovers! They are known for their beautiful paper products by Crane and Caspari. They customize stationery, party invitations, and wedding invitations with a large selection to choose from. The back room is full of beautiful greeting cards for any occasion and gift wrapping paper. Handmade art pieces, little purses by Ashley Osbom were the most expensive ones I saw but so much detail.
There was a small display of Gator stuff for all you fans. Filofax day-timers in all colors. Silk flower arrangements. A fa-fa desk set that was black with rhinestones and feathers and a jeweled pen.
Fan pulls with shells on them. And the cutest tiny chandeliers! You can find needle point pillows and rugs.
They carry beautiful Italian stoneware by Vietri, hand made in Italy. It is safe for the oven or freezer with unusual patterns to mix and match.
If you want something really different they have crazy one-of-a-kind clocks. I liked the one of the cat, the pendulum is the cat's pink tongue that swings back and forth. It runs $250. The artist will make a custom clock for you based on a photo of your pet. Speaking of pets they have a good selection for all you pet lovers.
Now they are getting in all kinds of heart shaped things for Valentine giving. Quite a selection, from a token gift like a key chain to a lovely bowl.
The Paper Mill is located off Daniels Parkway at 6420 Plantation Park Court #104. Hours are 10-5 Mon.-Fri. and 10-4 on Sat. Phone 437-2252
