If you need big-girl panties, there's a place for you

Big is beautiful and it is so nice that there are stores devoted to larger women. Cacique is one of them. It is a division of Lane Bryant in the Gulf Coast Town Center. It is a well-designed, bright and cheery store to shop in. All the intimates are arranged by color; and girls, you can find any color you are looking for here. I spoke with Becky Kvaley, who said they carry the larger sizes that are sometimes hard to find in 12-28 and 36C-to size 48, panties in sizes 12-28. The good thing is all the lingerie is beautiful! They also carry Spanx. There was a large rack of bras in all colors on sale for $12.99 and panties were five for $15! I thought I wrote down the wrong thing in my notes and had to call the store to verify the price ... that is correct and a great bargain! I saw some really pretty sexy, soft, cotton, comfy nighties and garter belts.

There was also a sports section for walking or workouts. Some cool tops, jackets and pants in great combos of turquoise and royal blue or hot pink, black and white. There were also sets in the basic colors but these were the fun colors!

You walk right through into the Lane Bryant store where Donna Spain was carefully folding some bright-colored tees for display. There was a rack of good-looking slacks with some stretch in them that are called Right Fit and the girls said they are a really super fit! On this side of the store, they carry sizes 14-28 in petite, average and tall. There was a large selection of slacks and shirts in several styles and colors. Pair up the perfect tee in yummy colors with a great fitting jean. Or choose the tanks in one of the many bright colors. Becky said the jeans fit wonderful and you will come back for more at $39.50.

The jewelry was "buy one, get one for 50 percent off." Also find purses and belts.

All the current selections are going on in here. A new look for spring is in yellow, black and white.You will find a little bling on some of the dressy tops and some of the tees. Jackets and slacks with a little sparkle are on sale for $29.99. Again, everything on this side is arranged according to color group, making it fun and easy to shop. They also have the clothing arranged in sections -- a wear to work, casual and intimates areas. You could put together a whole wardrobe in nothing flat ... what could be easier!
