THE SAVVY SHOPPER
Jeanne Vogt
For all you golfers I stopped in a great little golf shop this week called Swing-In-Style, located in the Grand Oak Plaza on Ben Hill Griffin Boulevard and Corkscrew Road, close to Publix.
They have the latest in golf attire, carrying the brands you all want, the cutting -edge trendy Jamie Sadock, and basic Tail and Bette & Court, to name a few. You will be a standout at your club with the great color choice. To complete your new outfit, they have little footsies with a grosgrain bow at the back called "Go Arounds."
And shoes! You haven't seen anything until you see their selection of golf shoes! I don't golf, but was tempted to buy a pair because they are so cute!! There are even golf sandals! No kidding! Visors, golf gloves and sunglasses are a must. They carry specialty sizes too! Most all of the golf clothing is discounted.
I say it is a golf store and more because they carry accessories, tennis wear, gift wear and casual wear, featuring Barbara Lesser casual pants and lots of colorful tees. I saw a beautiful white outfit called Snow Skins, a skirt and matching top of a sheer fabric with cut outs applied. Also, Snow Skins come in colorful tops.
What a perfect place to browse for unusual little hostess gifts! Notes, cocktail napkins, personalized gift tags in the shape of shells. A book by Kristina Grish titled "We need to talk. But first, do you like my shoes?" Don't you love it? I loved the towels with sayings, "This is not the life I ordered" or "By time I got to greener pastures I couldn't climb the fence!" How about " I have a life, it's on lay-away at Neiman's!"'
This is a fun little store with lots of surprises inside and friendly people working there so go check it out!
