Weather turned Cold today, I thought it would never get here!

Inshore fishing last week was very good. Almost every day we ventured out we found nice Redfish and Snook. On our Night trips we even jumped a few Tarpon. This week will probably see a little draw back in the catching depending on how far the water temps drop. Forcast is for a pretty chilly week. Maybe the winter fishing will finaly start. From Bait to Fly this week has had some great fishing days. My Fly guys on Wednesday caught multiple slot and over Redfish and Snook, not far from Big Marco River. My Bait guys were able to catch an array of species including Keeper Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Sheepshead, Pompano, and even a couple of Permit, along with all the other usual species for this time of the year. Good Week!. I do have to say I feel real bad because my last Sunday trip wasn't great. I had a great couple from Indiana and we just couldn't get the fish to bite. Started out in Marco River Watching 100 plus pound Tarpon Blowing Mullet out of the water, we tried to get them on large topwaters to no avail. On to the redish, tailing all over Johnston bay, we cast everything I had in the box at them, still nothing. Fished a trout flat which produced nothing but ladyfish, well at least they pulled hard. Went on to another Redfish and Snook bank with only a couple small Snook to count. Then went on into the back of The maze in the shallows and cast to more Snook and Reds with a couple of jacks to add to thier Trash Can Slam's. I'm going to stop fishing Sunday's they are just bad luck for me. well it happens, we can't catch them all the time. Well good luck and good catching. Roan z.
