How to create a floral arrangement

Posted December 21, 2007

Here's a quick, stylish floral arrangement anyone can do with tulips or calla lilies.

Start with a medium to large round glass bowl. You can find them at craft stores or use a fish bowl you might have on hand.

Fill one-quarter of the container with water.

Put one stem in the water and follow the curve of the bowl when placing each tulip. Only the stems should be submerged.

Continue the process with each bloom a little higher than the previous.

This arrangement is especially nice for the dining room table because it is low and you can see the person sitting opposite you.

Try adding berries and other foliage for a Holiday Centerpiece.
